1985 Mercedes-Benz 280SL in Brisbane, QLD. 1985 Mercedes 280SL Roadster Classic Prestige vehicle in excellent condition, having done less than 3,000 Miles per year. Probably the best example of a 280SL in Australia. I am only the 3rd owner of the car. This model Mercedes SL was not sold in Australia. It is a fully imported vehicle from the Isle of Capri (not a Hong Kong vehicle). There is hard and soft tops, both of which are in excellent condition. The car drives beautifully and is a real cruiser. It can be used as a daily driver as it has full NSW registration (personal number plate IA1985 comes with the car). It is extremely reliable, smooth and a real pleasure to drive. I drove from the Gold Coast to Sydney without it missing a beat. It is ready to be driven anywhere – nothing to spend. The car is registered as a 4 seater (seats in the rear) and also comes with a Wind Deflector behind the driver / passenger.
