1963 Ford Ranchero in Lloyd, NSW. ONE OF ONLY 136 RANCHEROS BUILT WITH A V8 & FOUR SPEED RESTORED 7 YEARS AGO TOTALLY REBUILT GEARBOX JUST BEEN FITTED WITH WILLWOOD DISCS This is a very rare Ranchero, one of only 136 rancheros produced in 1963 with a 260 v8 coupled to a 4 speed manual gearbox, and today, fifty years later, it’s still a matching numbers car. The Ranch was meticulously restored around 7 years ago, and still looks incredible. The rebuilt 260 still goes hard (not surprising, as it’s covered little mileage since the rebuild), and makes a gorgeous sound at idle or under acceleration. Recently, the Ranchero has been fitted with Willwood discs, so it now stops as good as it goes. And the Borg Warner 4 speed has just had a complete rebuild. Perfect ute, ready for work or cruising.
