Ok.... so when I was 17 I really wanted a brand new 1982 yellow Hilux to throw the dirt bikes in the back of and go bush.. but I didn't actually buy a very tidy and original one until 6 years ago. Then I decided to rebuild it. Since then I have totally and fully rebuilt this Hilux - along the way fitting a new balanced and blueprinted 304 black motor- dyna 5 speed, new absolutely everything inside outside and underneath ( just ask it will be new or rebuilt ) and then of course the original yellow was a bit dull so I had it professionally repainted and it needed a 3" lift etc etc. If you are considering rebuilding an old Hilux because you have a few loose screws upstairs - then go for it - but if you want one now then do yourself a favour and take this one away. It has zero kilometres since full rebuild - cam has been run in - i have literally driven it out of the garage turned it around and driven it back in- but the love of my life will sneak her car in if I drove it further than that. Wheels/Tyres 33 x 15 x 15.5 Mickey Thompson's with as new sidebiters - and no they don't quite fit under the guards.. Was engineered and registered in Canberra with the V8 ( prior to full rebuild) - but Rego has expired - also includes standard split rims with as new Tyres.
