CONTACT ME AT : embury.c@xx...xx y a h o o .com Ford Torino GT Convertible 1965 ,This car was purchased by a 72 year old approximately 13 years ago now and imported as you see it from the US prior to my ownership. Now has around 58,000 miles onthe clock .The paint, panel and trim is absolutely near concourse as you could get and lazer straight. I have never had an issue with this car and it is the most full sized practical convertible you could ever own. I've done many weddings and charity drive days and shows and it has never failed to impress or win trophy's. I have loved driving this car throug hout summer each year. Itwas a barn find when I found it and was covered in blankets and sheets in a shed here in Australia. I've never had to spend anything on it other than fitting a new front end bush kit that came with the car and a new radiator to ensure its travelling reliably at all times. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car anywhere anytime. If you don't know Torino's this is a pretty low number built car with less than 3,800 made for 1970. From my research I can find that only 11 were made in red with a lazer stripe and shaker hood and after that this appears to be a one off specification build quite possibly for a ford executive at the time as the other most rare options are the hideaway light grill, front and rear spoilers, white cotton trim, tacho dash, bucket seats,shaker, cobra wheels. It is super clean inside and out, boot area and floors are like brand new. I feel this car represents outstanding value for money as an enjoyable investment and with solid rumours of the new Tori.
