1989 Ford falcon XG in Woolloomooloo, NSW. Hello everyone! Are you planning to travel around australia, and you want to decide for yourself where to stop and where to sleep? Fantastic, we got the best solution for you! We have traveled for almost 6 months in our ford falcon and we wanted to take it with us back to the netherlands, but... that's kind of impossible. So we decided it was time for the next 2 or 3 adventurous backpackers to discover Australia in this wonderfull panelvan. This car/panelvan has just as much space as most vans, but it drives so much easier and faster! You dont want to drive from sydney to cairns with 90 k's an hour. It has 3 seats in the front and a queensized matress in the back with 2 pillows, a thin blanket for hot nights and a sleaping bag for colder nights. Most people don't really like mosquitos, so we include enough mosquito nets to cover the entire car, and really you are going to need them. And of course it comes with all the neccesary camping gear: 2 gasstoves, (one gasmate and a proper gasstove that actually gives enough heat to boil your water), 2 chairs with holes for your drinks, an esky, enough pots and pans to make pasta and noodles ;) 2 plates, 2 cups, 2 knifes, 2 forks, 2 spoons, 2 big sharp knifes, 2 little sharp knifes, 2 bowls and some more a 2 person tent with air matress a camps book with every map of australia and well actually everthing we are leaving behind you can have it. About the car, well what can I say, it is a ford falcon, famous for their powerfull engines. 300000 k's is not even a third of what they can reach! Like I said before it drives faster than most of those backpacker vans, but it uses less fuel (this will save you a lot of money), it uses normal unleaded fuel btw, which is available at every petrol station. If you have plans to travel to warmer parts of australia, you don't have to worry about overheating the engine, so you don't have to stop every hour. It has an automatic gear, this makes it easy to drive. The car has a pink slip and is registrated untill june and it is very easy to extend this. It also comes with a warranty and roadside assistance for 6 months, so if there is any problem, you don't have to worry about paying any more money. If you don't have any experience buying cars in Australia or anywhere else, we will gladly explain everything to you, we will help with all the paperwork that's needed.
